Pop out your interpreter window
Open your interpreter in a small floating window that stays on top of your other apps.
In an interpreted session, your interpreter can appear in a floating window. The window stays on top of your other apps, so you can watch the interpreter while you work in another window.
Open the pop-out window
- Join the session.
- Hover over an interpreter’s video and select Pop out. The interpreter opens in a floating window.
- Move the window to wherever it is comfortable to watch.
If you do not see Pop out when you hover over the interpreter’s video, your browser cannot open the floating window. Keep the interpreter pinned in the session instead.
If you have more than one interpreter, select the smaller video in the pop-out window to make that interpreter the large one. Each time you select the smaller video, the focus switches.
If you also pop out your AI captions, the captions appear in the same floating window as the interpreter. See Use AI captions.
Return the interpreter to the session
Hover over the interpreter’s video in the session and select Dock back, or close the floating window. The floating window also closes on its own when you leave the session.
