Adjust what you see in your smart glasses

Once your glasses are paired to your session, you control what they show from the browser or the mobile app you joined with. Changes appear in the glasses right away.

Open the glasses controls

• In your browser, select Settings, then Glasses. The panel says “The glasses are connected.”
• In the mobile app, select the glasses icon at the bottom of the screen.

If you see a QR code instead, the glasses are not paired yet. See Use your smart glasses.

Choose what you see

Under Glasses video in your browser, or View in the mobile app, select the interpreter you want to see. When your interpreters switch, select the other one.

In a captioned session, select Captions to see the captions instead.

Change the display

The browser and the mobile app name some of these controls differently.

• Brightness: a slider from 0 to 100.
• Video size, called Display size in the mobile app: Small, Medium, or Fullscreen.
• Video position, called Display position in the mobile app: select one of the nine squares to place the picture in a corner, along an edge, or in the center. Position has no effect with Fullscreen.
• Font size: Small, Medium, or Large, for the captions. It appears in a captioned session.
• Active lenses: Left, Both, or Right, for the lenses that show the picture. It appears only for RayNeo glasses. Vuzix glasses have a single display.

Change the brightness on the glasses

You can also change the brightness from the SignGlasses menu on the glasses, without your browser or phone.

1. Open the menu. On RayNeo glasses, touch and hold the side of the glasses. On Vuzix glasses, hold one finger on the touchpad.
2. Swipe down to Brightness.
3. Swipe forward or back to change it.
4. Double-tap to close the menu.

Disconnect the glasses

Select Disconnect at the bottom of the glasses controls. The glasses leave the session and show “Scan a QR Code” again.
