Caption in SignGlasses and StreamText at the same time
Set Case CATalyst to send your captions to a SignGlasses session and to StreamText at once.
Dual captioning works only with Case CATalyst (CaseCAT). Other captioning software cannot do this yet.
Before you start
Set up both connections first:
Select both outputs in CaseCAT
- Open CaseCAT and log in.
- Select Translate on the top menu bar.
- In the window that appears, select the dropdown next to Output To.
- Select Multiple Outputs.
- Select CaseView and StenoKeys, and select OK.
CaseView is the output to StreamText. StenoKeys is the output to SignGlasses.
Keep your cursor in the SignGlasses text box
Keep your cursor in the SignGlasses text box the whole time you caption. If the cursor is somewhere else, your captions do not reach SignGlasses: attendees do not see them, and they are missing from the session transcript.
