Set up CaseCAT for StreamText

Case CATalyst (CaseCAT) sends captions to StreamText through its Caseview output on COM20, the same port the StreamText Connector uses.

Set your output

1. Open CaseCAT and log in.
2. Select Translate on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
3. In the window that appears, make sure your settings match these:
   • File: the session name
   • Output To: Caseview

You can also add any Additional Dictionaries you need.

Set the comm port

1. Select Options at the bottom left of the window.
2. Open the Realtime tab.
3. Under Comm Port, select COM20.
4. Open the Output to Caseview tab.
5. Check the box next to Output over comm port. Under Comm Port, select COM20.
6. Select OK.

Your writer window opens. CaseCAT is ready to connect to StreamText.
