Connect Dragon to SignGlasses

Use only the Dictation setting when you caption in SignGlasses with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Dictation + Commands does not work in SignGlasses.

Change the Dragon options

1. Open Dragon.

2. On the DragonBar, select Settings, then select Options.

3. Select Miscellaneous on the left.

4. Change these settings:

   Setting	Set it to
   Speed vs Accuracy	Near the middle, or closer to Fastest Response. Adjust it to suit you.
   Voice-enable menus…	Unchecked
   Put the microphone to sleep after…	20 minutes or more, so that your microphone does not disconnect
   Use the Dictation Box for unsupported applications	Unchecked

5. Select Apply, then select OK. Dragon restarts.

The other settings on this page are your choice.

Dragon is now ready. You can join your session and begin captioning.

Before each session

1. Open Dragon.
2. Turn on your microphone.
3. In the SignGlasses session, select the text box where you write captions.
4. Dictate into it.
